Bad Baseball Habits
Bad baseball habits will mess a baseball player up and can take a long time before these habits can be corrected. So, if your kid starts the baseball season playing on a team and mid-way through the season you realized that the coaches are teaching bad habits and knows nothing about baseball please don't promote or advocate quitting the team to your child or other parents especially, if they don't have another team to play on for the rest of the season and they have played several games.
I highly recommend that you leave your kid on the team until the baseball season is over then seek another team for him to play on for next season. Find a team that teaches fundamental baseball and whom you feel will not teach or have bad coaching habits.
The reason why I say don't quite the team yet is because while the season is going on you can find someone to work with your kid to correct any bad habits that he may have picked up.
Then after the season is over make the switch for next year and at the same time it want appear as if your teaching your child to quite when things don't go right. But, if it's at a point that something have to be done now, that a decision is totally up to you and you only to keep your child there or leave the team all together.
How To Correct Bad Baseball Habits
In order to correct bad habits have your child train with a personal baseball trainer so that he can correct any bad baseball habits that he may have picked up during the season.
"Bad habits are hard to break" that's why Major League Baseball players have a private baseball trainer during and after the baseball season, so that they can continue to work and make corrections on their pitching or hitting skills etc.
I recommend that parents get a baseball trainer to correct any
bad baseball habits
that may have developed. That's way getting the proper training for you child starting at such a young age is so important a trainer prepares them for baseball success in the future.
I'm not say that all little league baseball coaches can't teach or don't know the game of baseball or can't coach little league baseball.
But, what I'm suggesting to you as the child parent is that you take it upon yourself to provide and surround your son or daughter with the best possible baseball coaching and training that you can find and provide for them.
Seek out a
personal baseball trainer
who have played the game of baseball at the college or professionally baseball level to train you and your child, so that if bad habits start to develop you will be able to detect them then have his trainer make the necessary corrections before it's to late and the habit becomes hard to correct.
