Baseball Swing Timing
Your baseball swing timing is very important to hitting a baseball consistently. In order for you to hit a baseball at any level your swing timing is based on several factors such as your stride, feet, hand and seeing the ball and by studying the pitcher to see if he's fast or slow, so that you can recognize the pitches thrown and make your timing adjustments at the plate. When you recognize the pitches thrown to you make your
baseball swing timing adjustment with a level baseball swing.
Most often times when your swing timing is off it's because you're not recognizing the pitches thrown or either you're getting your front foot down on the ground to late. Getting your front foot down on the ground before you take your swing is one of the keys to hitting consistently and the other one is keeping your hands back as long as your can before swinging at a pitch. When it comes to your timing most hitters use their front foot or hands as their trigger to swing the bat. But, you should also make adjustment to your swing timing based on the speed of the pitcher pitch. If the pitched ball is moving fast then you should take your stride and get your front foot down on the ground earlier before swinging the bat. If the ball is moving slow you should take your stride and get your front foot down on the ground a little later before swing the bat.
