See The Baseball Then Swing
As a hitter you should train your eyes to see the baseball better and clearly through
Baseball Vision Training
and this can be done with the vision training tee. As a hitter you should train to keep your head, hands and body as still as possible when preparing yourself to swing at pitches.
Your eyes can not focus on the ball correctly if their is to much movement in your batting stand while at the plate. Have you ever tried to concentrate on a moving object with your head is moving and at the same time that the object is moving? It's hard to focus your eyes on the object right!
When your body, hands and head is consistently moving your eyes can't adjust to the baseball correctly to focus on the moving object coming toward you clearly, causing the object to appear as if it's farther or closer to you than it really is or moving in a manner that it's not.
Try This Vision Test...!
Place a baseball in one of your hands in front of your eyes keeping it still then start moving your hand and head from side to side slowly and then start moving it faster and faster.
Now do you see what's happening... ! Your eyes can't focus clearly on the baseball correctly as your head and hand is moving at the same time this is because one of the object must be stationary in order for your eye to recognize the movement of the baseball.
When batting if you can keep your body and head as still as possible your vision will be clearer and you will
See The Baseball
better with every pitch.
Another reason why you don't see the ball clearly when batting is because you don't keep your head down on and your eyes on the ball during your swing as you swing to makes contact with baseball. To mush movement at the plate will cause problems even for professional hitters.
Swing Recommendations
That will make you a better hitter is to see the baseball and landing with your front foot on the ground in the close position. Most little league players, high school and college players don't land with their front foot in a closed position which causes your hips and front shoulder to fly open. By training off a hitting or batting tee like the vision hitting tee will help you to correct this problem.
This is not a good hitting position for hitters and at this point the only thing that you have left in your swing is your arms with no power in your swing at all. See
